Keeper of the Enchanted Pool

Talking gorillas! Ghastly pygmies! Pipples? Lottie is amazed to have the Pipples ability for telepathy and teleportation, but this is only the beginning... Morath watches Lottie in visions on the surface of his enchanted pool. Through dreams, he leads her to a cliff face, where, with the help of her friend Bertie, she finds the entrance to a tunnel. Waiting for them are the Pipples, led by Otto, a rather bumptious but delightful creature, who escorts them to Morath. A bemused Lottie is told she is not completely human and with the aid of Morath's magic pool, is shown how she arrived in the land of humans. Now is the time she must return. She is needed as the only one who can attempt the mission to rescue Zultar, acting Crown Prince of Entransia. Zultar is weakening from his potentially mortal wounds in Fala's - Lottie's evil half uncle - dungeon. Morath forbids Bertie to go, but whilst following Lottie, Otto and a handful of gorilla soldiers, he falls into a trap set by Lottie's Uncle Thomas, who thinks himself lost, but still at war with the Boers in South Africa. Thomas was tricked into following Fala, in the guise of a fellow soldier. Can Lottie successfully save Zultar and Bertie, defeat Fala and restore order to the land?
