Andy is a 16-year old Pirates fan who just lost his father, and fellow die-hard fan, to cancer in November of 2012. With his father gone, Andy struggles to deal with the loss. As he continues to push away his friends and family due to his own depression, the Pittsburgh Pirates finally have their first winning season of Andy's lifetime. With the Pirates finally playing winning baseball and his friends starting to tackle their own issues, Andy finally starts to fight his own depression.
