Violet wasn't born. She was made, an artificially doctored supernatural, in the experimental facility of the Templars of the Crimson Rose-a group of humans who experiment on supernaturals.

She manages to escape with her werewolf father, and they spend the next fifteen years learning how to live normally again. For Violet, this means walking on two legs instead of four.

But when her father begins to lose himself without a pack, they decide to return to the home of the Crescent Wolf Pack. Once there, Violet is offered a position on the Council and is enlisted to help stop the Templars and their horrible experiments.

With a werewolf, a witch, and a vampire on her side, Violet vows revenge for her lost years that were filled with torture and blood. Will her anger and the power she wields be enough, or is it all for nothing?
