The Diffusion of Religions: A Sociological Perspective

Of the world religions, only Buddhism, Christianity and Islam have diffused widely. These religions have had varying degrees of success. This book argues that a factor in these variations is found in the nature of the relationships between receiving groups and both sending and surrounding groups.
