Dee of the Fontala: a Tale of the Feyra

D. Grant, a moderately successful and moderately well-known author learned, not all that too long ago, that she was really one of The Feyra, The Hidden Ones, a strangely skilled sub-species of Homo sapiens, called ?the people? by The Feyra. She also learned that her true name was Daliera Fontala, called by some Daliera of The Fontala. And as things so often happen, she finally learned what her name really meant, and in the process found that she was becoming involved in certain activities of the people, activities that The Feyra have spent thousands of years avoiding.
