Vampire War: Corruptor begins six months after the conclusion of Vampire War: Nemesis. The DSA task force has relocated to the nation's capital, following the path of the vampires seeking to take control of the nation. Their new Master, Victoria, is continuing the plan begun by the Virate, but a faction does not support her. An ancient Master is raised from suspended animation to remove Victoria from power. The Corruptor takes charge and changes the plan, leaving the DSA without an idea of what to do. The vampires begin their takeover and the only hope of survival for the human race lies in the hands of The Nemesis, Alex Chance.
