To Ten's surprise Billy uses his magic to also seduce the children to follow along, and this odd little band blazes a twisted and dangerous trail into Indian Territory and "the place of power" where Cut is going to change his eyes for Billy's. Ahead of them awaits the murderous and powerful Cut. Behind them is the thundering outlaw band. This is a story of magic and adventure set in the still-untamed Great Plains. There is a treacherous villain, shoot-outs, desperate escapes, fevered chases and a final test of loyalty and friendship.
