Cadaques Blue Bahcom 2013 edition

This is a story about an art town on the Costa Brava and the people who live there. My infatuation with the place started with a painting, a short visit to meet the artist and five subsequent extended stays over eight years. My goal was to write about this place with its magical light, an irresistible attraction for artists like Dalí, Duchamp and every Surrealist for more than a hundred years. During those visits, I came to know that the village was not just a pretty face, but rather an organic crucible of complex emotions, keenly influenced by physical forces,and those things form the basis for this story. It starts during my last stay in 2008 with the backdrop of the world financial crisis.
