Mia Caldone left California trying to run away from the issues there. Getting a letter from her estranged father only gave her an excuse to run to his side. She didn't give a thought to the consequences of what she might find in the town she was born. Mia's issues from home only followed her to Ogre Beach. Along with the impeding threat of falling for one of the local officers. Who also happens to be one of her father's subordinates.
