2,000 years ago footprints appeared in the sands of Israel. They belonged to a very special person who called himself the Son of God. Jesus walked with his disciples and revealed God to them. He wanted everyone to grasp the love, grace and power of his Father in heaven. Walking beside Jesus was an ex-tax collector named Matthew. He experienced Jesus in a very personal way. He was led by the Spirit of God to write a book and tell Jesus' story. We call that book the Gospel of Matthew. Walking with Matthew is a devotional study built on Matthew's Gospel. In this study one will read through the entire book of Matthew in a little over 100 readings and be encouraged to pray and grow closer to Jesus. Christianity is about the most important relationship each one must have - a personal relationship with Jesus. It is my prayer that this book will allow you to draw closer to him and be refreshed and renewed in his love.
