We live in an age of reckless religion: preaching truth without love and teaching love without truth. While the church strives to be relevant with lights and lattes, the average person drowns in temptation and trauma. To combat this trend, Reckless invites you to dive into your darkest fears. Not for the faint of heart, this page turner grapples with deep seated issues of the mind, soul and spirit. Reckless will challenge you to exchange empty ritual for true religion and supernatural faith. Pastor Trish heralds a fresh, compelling voice that is seasoned by the urban experience. She presents an alternative approach to discipleship that roots itself in time tested, theologically sound principles. The chapter format specifically aims toward individual or small group Bible Study application, with the accompanying guide providing testimony "companions" to augment each chapter. For supplemental materials, go to www.recklessjourney.com. Face your fears. Find true faith. Trishia Kholodenko has nearly two decades of pastoral and church leadership experience in inner city Chicago. She earned an M. Div and MBA from North Park Theological Seminary, where she will candidate for a Doctorate in Urban Ministry in 2017. She currently serves as an independent author and executive consultant. She dedicates herself to impact one life at a time for the Kingdom of God. Her favorite pastimes include motorcycle riding with her hubby, Max, storytelling with her son, or burning the midnight oil with her daughter. However, she is most at "home" during her quiet times alone with the Lord. Trish has a heartbeat for trauma survivors, having suffered deep personal loss as well as emotional and spiritual abuse in the past.
