Rouche Maths

Most kids in high school struggle to make their own maths notes. The hand outs and text books are too detailed, the teacher talks them through an idea but leaves the distillation of the idea to them and it all becomes a bit overwhelming. In my teaching I have always created clear and concise notes for my students that summarize the concepts they have to learn as succinctly as possible. So much so that when I left my London school for Australia a few of my students asked me to email them my board notes. In creating access to my notes for my old students I realised that while digital resources are good, there is nothing as effective as holding a book in your hand. I have witnessed firsthand the erosion of the learning process by the hyper distraction of technology and with more and more schools adopting digital textbooks, students are struggling to be able to put pen to paper to answer test questions. Parents often underestimate the merit of sitting with a notebook, exercises and a pen and hammering out tons of repetitive questions. Now while this first version doesn't have questions, it does fill the niche of a simple clear instruction book covering topics from year 7 through to year 10. Easy to read with tips, tricks and warnings of very common mistakes I've seen kids make over and over again, Rouche Maths will be an easy reference companion for your child's journey through Junior High.
