The large island of New Guinea in the South Pacific is known for its lush mountain ranges, tropical rainforests, and colorful coral reefs. The country of Papua New Guinea is on the eastern side of the island. One day Gideon, a young pig, finds himself completely lost. While making his way back home, the little explorer is finding out how wonderful it can be to visit new places and learn about new cultures. He travels from town to valley, and from lowland jungles to the highlands, while getting to know many new people and animals along the way. Gideon is on a grand adventure.
