As a student, about to take my GCSE exams, this book has cleared my mind as to what subjects I want to take, and answers questions regarding religion, philosophy, education, science, the mind, the world around us and many other subjects that aren't taught in school but are vital for understanding ourselves and life itself. For me, this book isn't life described through one mind, but hundreds. It is a collection of evidence from great books and people through the ages. I enjoyed reading it as it is detailed but not difficult to understand.
It has added depth to my knowledge and understanding of most things and is therefore a must read for anyone looking to learn. Jessica Spigler.
