An evil resides in the basement of the Malcolm X Library in our nation's capital. Sixteen years ago, Angel was lured into the darkness and sexually abused by a vicious bully who was never punished for the brutal crime. Angel was never seen again. For the next sixteen years, countless young men have disappeared, all of whom were last seen entering the library. The spirit of Angel, full of rage and fury, and mysteriously trapped inside a mirror in the basement, is hellbent on revenge, and it will not rest until it is set free in the form of another body - the only way it can escape the mirror.

A trio of library employees begin to experience mysterious nightmares that lead them to believe that Angel is somehow involved in the many disappearances of young men over the years. Pablo, an immigrant from the Dominican Republic, has a secret past in male prostitution. Curtis, a hopeless romantic, has just moved to the area for college. Chaka, a single, black female, is looking for love in all the wrong places, and her God-given abilities may just hold the power to derail Angel's sinister plan. The trio joins forces with Arnold, a professional basketball player in his rookie season, to prevent Angel's wicked spirit from being unleashed into an unsuspecting world.
