Field to Fork

A selection of gastronomic poems and short stories by members of the local community to celebrate the 2016 Food and Drink Festival in Levenshulme, Manchester, UK. Covering each stage of the process from sowing the seeds in the field, through the gathering, the manufacturing, the purchase, the cooking to finally eating the meal at the table, the book is a frank, thoughtful, occasionally controversial but always down-to-earth look at the various emotions generated by the things we eat and drink.
