At the exact same place, at the precise same time, one-hundred-fifty years apart, two tragedies take place. Becca, a teacher from the twenty-first century and Delphi, prostitute from 1865, each drown in the rugged seas off the shore of a northern California town. In a strange mix-up of spirits and bodies the women survive. The challenge begins when each awaken in a different century. Becca and Delpha find a way to communicate as they guide one another through the challenges.
