Hey, Are You Listening?

Have you ever wondered what the voice of God sounded like? Have you questioned if he is speaking and why you can't hear him? Have you ever thought you heard him, but you really didn't? Have you ever became jealous when someone shared that God spoke to them? Was your reasoning because you could not identify with that experience? If you can relate to any of this please know that you are not alone. For a long time, I struggled with hearing or identifying when and if God was speaking to me. I am a preacher's kid since birth and most of my life was spent wondering how to differentiate the voice of God from my own, as well as what were his words, versus my own personal thoughts. Within the pages of this book "Hey, Are You Listening?" I share my personal experiences of learning how to recognize the voice of God. I have learned that he has actually been communicating with me my entire life! I just did not recognize his efforts. I was expecting him to talk to me in a particular way, but he chose his own unique ways to communicate with me. He has used a child, a wasp and a backyard swimming pool to speak to me.
