Angela Howard I had one chance left to prove I was a good reporter, not only to myself but my editor. My assignment, find a molehill, and turn it into a mountain; or in other words, make a homeless person look like they are worth a million bucks. I'd almost given up on finding the right person for the makeover, until I fell into his lap, literally. He was perfect for the story, or he would be once I had a chance to polish him-a diamond in the rough. Nothing could have prepared me for the man or his story John Smith Someone I trusted tricked me into giving up my family, my life, and my business. Now I lived under the streets, with some of the homeless population in Seattle. They were like family now, and I'd become very protective of them. But when an attractive woman offered me a chance to take my old life back, how could I refuse her offer. However, before I agreed to do her story, I had a few conditions of my own. There was something about the woman that made me senseless. I couldn't think straight around her-her softness, her smile, her shoe choices. Suddenly, the rules I had set changed. When I agreed to do the story, I knew it would be a wild ride. But I didn't expect it would lead us both into more danger. Follow Angela and John, as they leave the harsh world of the homeless, and plunge feet first into the world of high finance, crime, and human trafficking.
