Author Alex Montez had many battles but never gave up the fight of pursuing his love and passions. The author fought battles such as anxiety, depression, insecurities, and life's challenges in general. However, he did not let it derail his life nor take him hostage. Instead, the author took stock of his inner self, risking everything and stepping out of his comfort zone to find what fulfills his heart and soul. Although it was not always easy, in the end, it was worth the fight and struggle. If the author did not follow his heart, intuitions, and dreams, he would still be living an unfulfilled life.
