When Douglas "Rapid" Johnston is shipped out to the front lines of the ETO, he follows his division far into Europe, recapturing territory for the Allied armies. The mission is simple: Douglas must return to Belgium with his company, alone without any fire support. The rest of the division was to follow after him, waiting for Douglas to clear a safe pathway to advance through. Douglas needs leave as soon as he could, for there was no plan in place, except for one mission: rescue the 101st Paratroopers guarding Bastogne.
