The Book of Ruth is a wonderful portrait of how God sought to protect the line of Christ. The principal characters and their decisions teach valuable life-lessons to the diligent reader. The Book is more than just a story. In it we see God's sovereign hand mining a Gentile gem. A gem He will place in the royal crown of His Son, Jesus.
