"Walking in Affluence" is walking by faith at its highest level. It requires total submission to God. Children are protected when they are residents in their father's house, and we enjoy the same privilege when we dwell in God's house. The life of Sasha and Malia Obama is symbolic of "Walking in Affluence." They will not need money because their needs will be provided. In the parable of the Prodigal one of the sons requested his inheritance. He no longer wanted to be a dependent in his father's house. Once we are freed from our misconceptions about having wealth, and get comfortable with the idea of being wealthy regardless of what we have; we will experience an amazing Walk of Affluence. In these days of economic uncertainty this message takes us beyond the "Think and Grow Rich" model. People need to know that being in God's house is about being richly blessed. Francis E. Gilliard, a native of Sumter, S. C. and resident of Grand Blanc, MI. He pastored for 23 years in Newark, NJ, and formed Community Urban Renewal Enterprise, which built 300 units of affordable homes. Recently he established Triumphant Temple of Praise in Flint, MI., and "At Hand WorldWide Ministries" an internet outreach ministry that unite people of all races and cultures in common prayer.
