Of eleven grandsons growing up in 1950s, Bobby and the author were the only boys without brothers or sisters. They bonded very young, and Bob's amazing feats even as a young man, so impressed his cousin, that he began keeping a record. Bobby was a pilot, an explorer, a scuba diver, a businessman, an instructor of life, and most of all, a very humble and caring individual. This biography takes readers on an exciting ride...from acrobatic airplanes, to adventures at sea, to restoring and flying old planes, and into the fall and winter of Bob's life as a young senior citizen. It concludes with his dynamic departure from life on Mother Earth. The author recorded these events over a period of fifty years not as a simple record of death-defying feats, but as a story of a life well lived. In the end, Bob defeated the grim reaper time and again, but finally lost the war to Parkinson's disease, making a most eloquent departure from this world.
