Lakishia Banister was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 20. She is now the Associate Pastor of her church, Foundation of Faith Ministries, where she received all of her Biblical teachings since she gave her life to the Lord. She received her bachelor's degree from Salisbury University located in Salisbury, Maryland and her master's degree from University of Maryland Eastern Shore located in Princess Anne, Maryland. She and her husband have relocated back to the Eastern Shore with their three children, Shykeem, Shykera and Shykayla.
