He has also received various awards including, Bharathi Award, Kuralasu Award, Kavimamani Award and Kavikkathir Award from Ulaga Tamil Sangam, Tamil Kalai Ilakkiya Maiyam, Chennai Tamil Sangam and other Tamil welfare Societies in Tamil nadu for his best writings.
