The Holy Nativity Of Christ

Traditionally, Orthodox Nativity Services start with the Vesperal Liturgy of St. Basil in the afternoon of Christmas Eve (January 6), followed by Great Compline and Matins at some time after dark in the evening. Then, on Christmas morning follows the Divine Liturgy. This booklet features the Christmas Eve Service of Great Compline & Matins (Orthros), somewhat revised and abbreviated as to meet parochial custom and less repetitive demands.
