Unknown Strength is the story of the young 32-year-old, Wainger Flowers, who lost her husband and college sweetheart, Lex, at the age of 31 due to a random heart disorder (dilated cardiomyopathy). After the death of her husband and best friend, Wainger struggled with survivor's guilt and deep, dark depression. "Why am I here?" "What is my purpose?" and "I can't do this!" were the thoughts that dominated her mind. After finding ways to overcome her inner struggles, Unknown Strength was born in hopes of encouraging, uplifting, and empowering young widows around the world.
