The man who did not exist

Before the Avengers there were other heroes who fought to save the Earth.. Year 1905: A hypnotism session takes place at 221B Baker Street where Sherlock Holmes, assisted by the eminent psychiatrist Sigmund Freud, tries to recover the lost memory of a man who claims to be called Jorge Luis Borges. After being convinced of his irremediable madness, he is kidnapped by strange creatures. Year 1934: While waiting in Washington to meet President Roosevelt, H. G. Wells takes the opportunity to meet the only living relative of an old friend to whom he owes his life, the American soldier John Carter, but his grandson Randolph does not go to the appointment and instead does a strange Hindu who claims to be his representative. After this encounter, Wells interviews the still journalist of the Gotham Gazette, Perry White, to talk about the meteorites that are falling in Smallville.
