Was the Serpent in Genesis defeated by Jesus?

The snake in Genesis is said to be the Satan in the book of Revelation. The problem is; in Christians theology, the Satan is said to be a fallen angel, a star, a Cherub and a Dragon. All of these teaching are explored in detail as well as showing who does have encounter with the Satan and the results. Jesus only has a conversation with the devil, but what is a devil; how many devils are there? This is the first book of the False Fulfillment Citation series.
