At the time when there were gods living on Earth, there was an island very beautiful and favored by the creator God and owner of the Universe. Its inhabitants named it Atlantis in honor of its king Atlas and the ocean that surrounded it Atlantic. Which is still his name today. Many ancient historians and even modern ones, defenders of its existence have placed the island-continent in different parts of the world map. They have formulated convincing proofs of their existence. Those who were not convinced affirmed that it was a myth or a literary invention.
