Eleven-year-old Lyssa dreams of one more holiday season with her entire family. Except, her paternal grandparents haven't spoken to any of them in almost two years.



A local baking competition seems like the perfect way to bring everyone back together-- if only she wasn't a terrible baker! When a shopping trip leads her to a potion guaranteed to grant her heart's desire, her problems should be solved.



But instead of a perfect holiday, Lyssa gets an unexpected guest: a snow spirit with wonky powers who can't go home until she grants Lyssa's wish. Can Lyssa and her new winter headache set their differences aside long enough to find the true meaning of the season? Or will blind ambition and ruthless competition make this a holiday everyone would rather forget?
