Largely concerned with where we are from and where we are going, Ted Duck explores the idea of the individual and the development of the human race, through his characters and their stories. The past and the future are both inspected with a weathered eye, and the author is unafraid of bringing new philosophical ideas to the fore, following the tradition of Kurt Vonnegut. Pondering people's origins and destinations, and the decisions which affect their fate, Duck draws the reader into previously unimagined worlds, where the strangest things can happen, explanations don't necessarily make sense, and logic might not apply.
