Rhythms of New Orleans

This book offers an introduction to several of the foundational genres of New Orleans music including Second Line, Funk, Mardi Gras Indian Rhythms and the New Orleans Voodoo Temple Order of Service Rhythms. All rhythmic parts are presented in our BeatBox notation. The book also features Exercises and Drills designed to assist students in mastering the foundational cadences for these styles of music.
