Water Logging Problem and Its Impact on Peoples Livelihood

Water logging is a common problem in rainy season in Bangladesh. Trouble of the People knows no bound in this time. It is the overall situation in my country at a particular period. But in my study area people face the problem of water logging in whole year. They are suffering highly and try to cope with the adverse situation. Water Logging at Vhabadah means the water logging caused by the Vhabadah Sluice Gate and deposition at the both side of the gate. Water logging basically a sustain flood situation where the water has no out let and reaches a point of stagnation. This hazard affects economically leaving a negative impact prolonged and wide ranging. Water logging not only disorders the human life but also rout economic condition. They have Land but there is no scope to cultivate, they have Storehouse but they have no crop to store. Without water and endless dejection there is nothing for this water logged people.
