According to American Library Association (1989) information literate is one, who can recognize the needed information and can pay attention to location, evaluation and effective use of needed information and finally can learn the ways to learn. An information literate person can know organization of information, so that others can learn from him. An information literate person is all the time ready for learning because, he can find needed information for his/her work or decision making and problem solving. Information literacy enables a person to be effective in making independent decisions. This is possible, because of the available technologies. The users of information can keep themselves up to date in the Internet area, which is the key for successful information selection. All information users, both in their personal and professional lives need to exploit information for research and to solve problems.
