Return migration
Ibrahim Bamogo
Displaced and feeling forgotten by the society to which they belong, many young African minors are among the candidates for irregular migration. Young Guineans are not on the margins and occupy a prominent place among the nationalities most present in France. However, many of them do not succeed in reaching the Eldorado of France in the course of their journey. Our study, which we had to carry out during a stay with these young people in Guinea, is divided into three parts: firstly, we discuss the method used to collect data with regard to the sensitivity of the population; secondly, we tried to understand the determinants of this migration, particularly the push and pull factors; and finally, the specificity of our study is that it is one of those who were unable to reach their country of arrival and whose structures, such as the World Organization for Migration, help with professional reintegration.
