Amalie and The Web of Deceit

Amalie and the Web of Deceit is the story of an orphan girl claimed by a royal family as a distant relative just before coming of age in 1865. However, it doesn't take long for events to occur that pull Amalie into a web of deceit as the mystery of her origin begins to unfold. A handsome Captain and Amalie fall in love to complicate matters, but he is betrothed to another. Danger follows Amalie wherever she goes when their secret is uncovered. Amalie decides to fight back against her unknown enemy and regain control over her life--much unlike the women of her time. After learning all she can about her nemesis, she enlists the help of Queen Victoria in her pursuit of happiness. The climax of her story includes revelations, a revised history, and victory over those who upended her life--and ultimately, newfound happiness.
