The Catalan Knight

1282. After a century of contraction, the ancient but impoverished Crown of Catalunya-Aragón, under the ambitious King Peter II of the House of Barcelona, is set to become a Mediterranean power, challenging the mighty Kingdom of France. Josep, rootless and fatherless, and on a personal journey of self-discovery, finds himself in the midst of all the action and poised to help his King as an epic David-and-Goliath power struggle breaks out.
