Leon Ribald has always felt like there was something missing in his life. His mother and sister had unique abilities that were more like superpowers, but he was just normal. Since the joining of the northern and southern kingdoms years before, there had been peace, and training as a soldier was not fulfilling to him. When his parents, the prince and princess of the northern palace of Gratemoore, gave him their permission to go on an exploration across the desert, he hoped the adventure would bring him peace. But the other side of the desert brought him much more than he had been expecting.
