Goldilocks and the Three Bears

The classic folktale of Goldilocks and the Three Bears is retold for early readers. When Papa Bear, Mama Bear and Baby Bear leave for a walk in the woods while their porridge cools, a little girl named Goldilocks creates some mischief in their cottage while they're gone. She eats up Baby Bear's porridge, breaks his chair and takes a comfy nap in his bed. When she wakes up to the three bears, she decides to leave their cottage in a hurry. This is a traditional retelling. For grades 1-2, 32 pages.
