The Sons of Oedipus

Oedipus, one of western literature's most tragic figures, has died in exile leaving an empty throne. With his brother-in-law Creon serving as regent, one of Oedipus's sons demands his uncle step aside and let him assume his birthright. However, the other son, with his own agenda advises patience. What ensues is a grasp for power that involves deceit, banishment, armed confrontation and a struggle that draws two of Mount Olympus's most noted gods into conflict.
