Malcolm John Rebennack Jr, better known as Dr John, was one of the most original and influential voices to come out of New Orleans. Since the 1950s, the father of "vodoo rock" (his album covers speak volumes) has been inspiring audiences with his extraordinary combination of rock, blues and jazz. Six Grammys and a place in the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame honour the original, who died in 2019. "In The Right Place" from 1973 is his best-selling album, the opening single "Right Place Wrong Time" was a huge hit on the charts.

The hybrid SACD brings to life the vodoo-drenched, vibrant sound of his live performances; discover another classic from Ananlogue Productions' 'Atlantic 75 Series'.

We recommend the use of "L'Art du Son" CD/DVD conditioner for even more sonic improvement.
