Just as journalist Lola Wicks is getting bored in her small Montana town, she hears of the death of a Native American girl and decides to investigate her hunch about a connection between missing girls and the booming North Dakota oil fields. -- Former foreign correspondent Lola Wicks is getting a little bored in Magpie, Montana, where she landed at a small local newspaper after being downsized from her job in Kabul.
