Lohse, a Research Associate at the University of Texas at Austin, is Principal Investigator of the Blue Creek Regional Political Ecology Project in northwestern Belize. Contributor Bio: Valdez, Fred, Jr Fred Valdez, Jr., is Associate Professor of Anthropology at the University of Texas at Austin. He coordinates multidisciplinary research in northwestern Belize as Director of the Programme for Belize Archaeological Project.
