wo substantial series of lectures, hitherto unpublished, on 'The Passion of Christ' and 'The Christian: Past, Present and Future', make up the bulk of this collection. The first examines in detail the different theological portraits presented by the final chapters of the four gospels; the second discusses the significance of Christian tradition, experience and future expectation. There are also studies on 'Parable and Dogma', 'Christology and Theology' and hermeneutics, together with the famous lecture 'Queen or Cinderella', on the place of theology in relation to modern knowledge.
