Once Tree has finally grown tall enough, he is sure he will finally be able to reach his friend Moon so they can be together. But Moon is still too far away! After numerous attempts to reach each other, they seek help from other friends, but maybe being together isn't what they really need.




This is Stephanie's first book and Morgan's five book. For the past 10 years Stephanie has worked as a social worker for children and families, and has been on the lookout for books that highlight the importance of attachment in a way that is relevant and age-appropriate. In Tree and Moon, the characters reflect our inherent need for one another and readers get the opportunity to see friends hurt together, hope together and heal together. Stephanie believes that people often learn best through stories, and it is her hope that Tree and Moon will provide children and their families with a new way to see an eternal truth: that we are never as alone as we think.
