Windmill Terry Maag

The men and women of the west were driven by the forces from the east looking for a place of freedom. Compelled to search for freedom, each had to suffer the setbacks that life has to offer. On the surface, life in the west was more forgiving, more laid back. But the east and west stood strong against certain pathways. No one was to find the easy road. Like the windmill, they had to stand strong. They were compelled to search their very souls to discover the freedoms within. And like the windmill, if the wind stops or the life source below dries up, they are abandoned. If they are to survive, the forces of nature must be discovered without and within.
