Displaying remarkable courage, Reeve pursued his goal of walking again someday. Meanwhile, he used his fame to help disabled people. By 2004 Reeve was still unable to walk. However, he regained feeling in some parts of his body. He has written his autobiography and continues to work as an actor and director.
