Commissioned by the Sacred Heart Jazz Ensemble in Salina, Kansas and director Milton Allen, this Victor Lopez original is exciting and challenging, yet playableand fun to play. Victor put those ingredients together and cooked them at grade 2. You may even hear a musical quote from a well-known Latin hit from the past. Contrasting ensemble sections, no improvised solos, and a hot line for baritone sax are but a few of the distinctive elements that allow the Latin experience to come to life.
